I'm trying to convert MOV trailers to a DVD. I have used AVS Video Converter, ConvertXtoDVD and CCE. I am also in a position where I have to convert to both 4:3 and 16:9 ratios, making two different DVD's.
With AVS and ConvertXtoDVD, the converted movie is darker than the original file. In the case of a trailer being dark to begin with, it makes it unwatchable.
CCE converts the image without losing that brightness, but it will not convert the larger formats available on apple's website, and the audio stream it produces is way out of sync with the video. It starts late, is faster than the original, and finishes early, only to start over while the video is still playing.
Are there any other converters that will not darken the image when converting from MOV? Anything else I can try? I have installed AviSynth, but I am completely lost as to what to do with it.
Thanks,
Scott
