I'm doing a project for school where I have to show a photoshop illiterate how do the basics. Instead of writing a long tutorial with screenshot and such I decided to create a video tutorial with narration. I've been messing around with screen capture software, audio software, and editing software and all seem to be doing is running in circles.
Please help. the current video capture software I have is HyperCam, and it was working fine until the sound started getting out of synch. So get some audio software, Audacity, and it took a little while to figureout, but a got. Then I turned sound record off on the Hyper Cam and started recording video on it and audio on the Audacity, and now the Hyper Cam crashes when I stop recording and on top of that the video is sped up at like 1.2 times normal. Finally I'm looking for a video editing software that lets me set up the video and audio paralle and aloows cuting and meshing and all that.
Plaeas help- I want a good grade.
    Also I have no money.

Take a look at the free software: Wink

I've never used it but it sounds like it'll be useful for you. The only thing I'm not sure about is if you can record or add audio. Take a look and decide for yourself...
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
