I downloaded some google videos that I'm going to need for my next video (lightning segments), but I need to convert them so that they can open with vegas 5. Any programs? And what file format should I convert them to?

I assume they are FLV files. FLV Extract worked good for me.

I am unsure of the allowed usage of those files so you might want to check that out. ok.

    Good luck.

GVI files I think are openDivx4 with MP3 audio. I think you can simply open it in VirtualDub or Divx player. I have changed the extention to .avi and it worked fine. There is something with the header but I can't remember.

    Good luck
