I downloaded some google videos that I'm going to need for my next video (lightning segments), but I need to convert them so that they can open with vegas 5. Any programs? And what file format should I convert them to?

I assume they are FLV files. FLV Extract worked good for me.
I am unsure of the allowed usage of those files so you might want to check that out. ok.
Good luck. -
No. They arent FLV. The program says they aren't. They say GVI. But I'm assuming thats google video and then something else for I. But maybe it's not. Any more suggestions?

GVI files I think are openDivx4 with MP3 audio. I think you can simply open it in VirtualDub or Divx player. I have changed the extention to .avi and it worked fine. There is something with the header but I can't remember.
Good luck
