I had this same problem when I did a SVCD. So, I encoded the same movie as a VCD, follow all the steps in Sefy's guide up to the part where in Nero you have to drag and drop the mpeg file into the tracks section. No matter what i do, it will NOT drag and drop. Plus, the search function is out on this site, so I have to bother you guys with this! Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Sefy, PUH-LEEEZ HELP ME! Here is some more info that might help with this. I did a search for all files named "Moulin Rouge". It shows the vob and ifo files I ripped from the dvd. It shows moulinrouge1 and 2, which is what I named the encoded output files (half and half), and both are movie file mpegs over 650,000kbs with a Windows Media Player icon. Is this the proper icon AND do these look like the folders I would burn in Nero? In Nero, the only way I can do drag and drop is to pull it from the file browser on the right hand side of the screen, NOT like Sefy's guide appears to pull it from the video1 on the left side of the screen. Nero does the check as specified in the guide and says it is all good. I throw in a CDR and in a about 3 minutes it says the burn is complete, yet there is NOTHING ON THE DISC! Plus, it takes 5 mins. to make an audio cd, so I could not conceive it burning a movie that fast. So, here I am, begging for wisdom again.

    Anyone, please???,
    Tracey

  4. Tracey-SAN just do wat you do to drop the mpeg files in to nero and make sure you dont have simulation on your option as this will only simulate the writeing and will not write anything on the CDR
