    Hi.

I generated .vob files using Encore 2.0. I need to patch the resolution from 3 .vob files from 720x576 to 704x576 using DVDPatcher. This usually worked fine, but for one .vob (the last, out of 3), it didn't work. DVDPatcher reports "no SequenceHeader found!".

Is this a bug of DVDPachter (or known problem), or is something wrong with this particular .vob file?

I can read this .vob using VirtualDub-MPEG2.

Is there any alternative tool similar to DVDPatcher which also allows to patch the resolution of .vob files?

    Many thanks.

You can probably change it with IFOEdit or PGCEdit, but why would you want to ?

I checked both tools. None of them seems to be able to patch the resolution. are you positive that these tools are able to do that?

The reason why I have to patch is here (sorry, german) ...

Most work on the mpegs, not VOBs. Restream could patch an mpeg file. Personally, I would find a better authoring tool. Looks like DVD Patcher is your best bet, but I don't know why it won't work on the last VOB, or why Encore couldn't have been designed to accept all DVD compliant resolutions.

I used DVDShrink now to make out of the 3 .vob's 1 .vob, patched this one using DVDPatcher and splitted the .vob again susing DVD Shrink.

    This did the job.
