my captures are 480x480, huffyuv codec. i have made many vcd's that are very good to me but i'm looking for that little extra more. since i have to deinterlace the picture gets that little bit a blur. i am encodeing with TMPGE and now messing with the sharpen edge settings. here's my question. what are some good settings to sharpen the image. i tried to max out the settings but it just didn't look right, (maybe TOO sharp). it also looked more blocky. what are some settings i can try that maybe some other people have worked with. i know its personal preference but some suggestions might help me as far as time is concerned for testing......thanks.......
