Does it play on your PC ?
Does it play on any other DVD player ?
If you open it on your PC, what files and folders do you see ?
Does your Copy player recognise +R format discs ?
Was the disc you burned PAL or NTSC ?
What media (brand and ID) did you burn to ?
What messages, if any, does the player give when it refuses to play the disc ?
Some things to note :
1. Nero isn't the best for burning DVD video. I would recommend strongly that you use imgburn 2. It's free and damn good.
2. Not all players are compatible with all media. You may have to find a media brand suitable for your player.
3. In the US it is not uncommon to find that PAL format material will not play either at all, or at least correctly, in many players.Read my blog here.

The dvd does play on pc but not on any of the dvd players. One of my dvd players is compatible with dvd +r/-r/rw. When I open file on pc I see four folders. One - windows movie, two- quickfinder file, three- ms info document and the last one is a sub file.
I do have it to NTSC. The dvd player just has a wrong disc message. -
It's not a DVD, that would be the first problem. You have created just a data disc with a movie file on it.
If you want it to play in standard DVD players, you need to convert it to a DVD structure. This is a multi-stage process that starts with Encoding, followed by Authoring, and finishing with Burning.
A simple solution is ConvertXtoDVD. There are better ways, but they are generally more complex and require multiple steps and programs. There is an older, free version called DivxtoDVD which might suit you to start with. You could also try NeroVision, which I personally don't like, but many use anyway.Read my blog here.
