  1. Hi all,

    I have a downloaded file with 2 avi files (cd1 and cd2).

It has also come with 'subs' file. In this file are 2 files,

    nedivx-mv-subs.sfv and
a .rar file and within this it has files named,

    nedivx-mv-cd1.idx
    nedivx-mv-cd1.sub
    nedivx-mv-cd2.idx
    nedivx-mv-cd2.sub

Now I have a multimedia player (like a hard drive that i connect to my TV). Does anyone know how I get these subtitles to work?

Example: For say CD 1 Is it as simple as dragging both nedivx-mv-cd1.idx and nedivx-mv-cd1.sub into the same folder as the avi for cd 1?

    Thanks for any help!

If your media player supports sub/idx subtitles, then yes that seems like a good start. The player manual should at leaast outline what's needed for subtitles to play. Unlike Video DVD, there's no standard regulatin how these things should work.
