    Hi,

    i used WIN DVR to view and record TV programe.
    I got problem , there is NO AUDIO when I watch TV but when I record it and then play the video file,it has audio on it.

    Does someone know how to fix the problem so I can watch TV with audio turning ON?????

    Theres a settings/options button or something like that in WinDV. You have to go in there and set it to capture type2 dv files (audio + video). It's probably set to Type 1 right now (video only).

    also you will want to set the max frames to 1,000,000 and something else to zero..i can't remember what the other one is but search the forums and you'll find it.

    actually, i can record both video and audio

    but

    When I just want to watch TV, there is NO AUDIO it's only the VIDEO.

    Can someone tell me how to fix it?

    I get this issue too. Records fine. However, it is seemingly RANDOM. I have not deviated my sound settings - there's not exactly much you can change - switch to line-in and you're set (for my setup recording via soundcard).
    I suggest this is just a bug - there's no auto-mute setting. This product is a bit flaky let us say...
