Premiere simply wants to conform your video to the current Project Settings...
So if your original .AVI was compressed, Premiere will try to "recompress" to the project settings...
If you're using the standard DV settings, then expect 13gig/hour..
You should try and create a project setting to match the original footage.. -
ok I understand now.
So How should I export to keep original size??
Should use microsoft dv AVI or microsoft AVI using DIVX 6???
I am newbie, so can you explain more detail??
Thank you!! -
Yes, go to the Settings dialogue box...
Go to "Custom settings", and fill in all the information, including framesize, compressor, etc....
Many people have had trouble in the past using DivX codec..
Primarily, Premiere is a DV editor...Since each frame is a keyframe, it edits great..
Within DivX keyframes can be spread out quite far.. -
Where can I find custom setting??
There is setting tab when I click on EXPORT- MOVIE...
I don't know how to set frame, birate, etc.....
Is there good tutorial for setting codec?? -
Google is your friend...
I'd start here, and see you in six weeks.....
