Help with menus on Ulead DVD workshop 2

Hi --
I am an impatient newbie both here and to the world of DVD authoring, so please be gentle with me

I just started using Ulead DVD workshop and love it so far but I have a couple of questions regarding menus

1) I really like the fact that I can add more than one audio stream, but I'd like to add the option of activating that feature from the menu. Can it be done and how?

2) Can an "extras" menu be created & how?

(1) - I've never tried that. Not sure it's possible.

(2) - Sure. Just drag a new background image or video onto the menu bar at bottom, and then link the menus together like you would any of your video assets. Does that make sense?

Once you add your additional audio streams on the Edit page under the Audio tab by clicking the +...




...then on the Menu page,

1. Click the Create Menu - Template icon (the second little menu-making icon near the bottom).

2. For Select Menu Type, choose Text Menu from the drop-down list.

3. Under the Language tab, choose Audio Menu.

Your audio tracks will automatically be assigned to that menu, which you can use as is, or edit and modify to your liking.




By the way, I saw your post over on the Ulead boards. To answer your question about making a Subtitle menu, it's pretty much the procedure I've descibed above, except of course in the first part you add your subtitle streams under the Subtitle tab, and in the second part, step 3, choose "Sub Title Menu."
