sonic digitalmedia plus v7-dividing DL dvd movie

Hi folks,

I have sonic digitalmedia plus v7 software and would like to divide double layer dvd movie into 2 single layer dvd as i don't have dl dvd media. Does anyone know how to do it? I tried the help option on sonic digitalmedia plus v7 and did not find the topic or it is not covered there. Does anyone uses sonic digitalmedia plus v7 and is familiar with the software? please help.

If sonic digitalmedia plus v7 can not do the job, which other easy and non complicated software would you recommend?

DVDShrink will put it on one DVD. Is that enough? Or do you really want to split it?

I want to split it, i do not want to shrink it. Would i be able to split it into 2 dvd single layer media using my current software?(sonic digitalmedia plus v7).

I have no idea if digitalmedia plus v7 can split a dvd9 or not, but I know for sure that VobBlanker (freeware) can. Here's a guide on how to do it.
