  1. I ripped the contents of a DVD using DVD Encrypter. Then, I tried to use DVD2AVI to convert the *.VOB files to *.d2v and *.wav. The articles on the net(http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdtovcd.htm) say that after the conversion is done, I would have two files .d2v and .wav. I have got the d2v but no wav file. I am not sure if I am missing out something very simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. under the audio tab on dvd2avi you can select the track. it usually track 1 and is set there by default. but sometimes it is track 2 or 3 etc.

i've only seen it be one or two for region 1

This mean the first track is DTS and DVD2AVI can't decode it.
