I have been looking all afternoon for the Dazzle Hollywood Dv Bridge and the Pinnacle Studio MovieBox Dv.

Are there any others like these that are Mac compatible??

If anyone has one that they want to get rid of, please let me know.

    Thanks!
Thanks for all your help b/c I am a Mac idiot!

The Mac version of the Dazzle was a terrible thing. Lots of dropped frames when it worked at all. If someone hasn't yet thrown theirs in the dump I'm sure they'll be glad to have a willing buyer.

If you want an analog-to-digital video converter then go with Canopus or Miglia. You also can use an EyeTV or a DV camcorder.

I use a ADS Tech pyro a/v link to capture from vhs->.dv (ussually with a program called Vidi)

I won't give it a glowing review, but most times it works.

All I am trying to do is to take a few VHS tapes I have and put them on DVD...and rather than buying a stand alone dvd burner, which I would hardly ever use probably, I would rather use it on my mac. I will check some mac boards if no one has any other suggestions....but thanks!!

There are a number of analog>digital devices (some mentioned above). I'd stay away from ADS products. The Canopus analog media converter works nicely. Son'y old DVMC-DA series also works well but it stopped working with newer versions of iMovie. What version of iMovie and MacOSX are you using?
