I have lots of AVI-films on my harddisks (38 years of filming in different formats but now AVI). They are edited with Ulead6 and later Pinnacle 9. A couple of years ago I found a good Sonic4 program to make DVD's However it suddenly gave error messages and I tried to reinstall but finally gave up and bought Sonic8. This was not what I had expected with very limited menus and not at all as Sonic4.
I have now tried some of the programs I have on my PC and found the following:
Nerovision express 3 cannot create music with the Menu. Does anyone know if a later version can add music to the menu?
Pinnacle studio 9.4.3 does not work with creating a DVD. I have tried creating a DVD but it never finishes. I made a test with 4 minutes but after 5 hours I think something is wrong with the burning so I stopped it.
I have never been able to use this Pinnacle 9 for burning but I would not dare to buy Pinnacle 10 as Pinnacle donot have a trial version on the net that can be downloaded. One can not even buy it on the net and download.
Is there anyone who have had problems with Pinnacle 9 for burning?

If you have burning problems you could always tell it to just author the video_ts folder and use another app to burn. If it has iso as on output that would be the easiest to use another app or use a freeware iso creator program then burn with that.
