I cannot play steaming videos without buffering interuptions. WMP starts buffering video every few seconds.
I was trying to play and also record with Realtime converter some rm movies from pay per view. The recorded videos were playing a few seconds normaly, then video picture stays the same for few seconds and then video coninue to play normaly another few seconds,....
The reason for this is video buffering. How to prevent video buffering every few seconds.
This were low quality movies and i cannot understand why PC reads (buffering) video every few seconds.

I didnt have any problems when i recorded movies from the same site with my old PC.
It seems that my PC o thinks that i have very slow connection. This is not true because i have tested it. The results are: Your Internet speed: 175 kilobits per second. I have DSL 2048/384.

What can i do? Can i change some settings somewhere?

Can someone tell me what to do. I have tried many internet optimizers.

    A couple of things :

1: Those tools may have made a mess of your connection ... your travelling at twice the speed of a dialup modem .

Get rid of them asap .

2: Or have you exceeded your isp's settings for alotted download period ... they just slam you till next month , then its back to normal

Log into you account through your isp's front page to site , and check your usage .

3: Trojans and virus come next ... grab hijackthis , scan pc , anything that dosent appear right ... visit the hijackthis forum and do a search ... a google search as well should nail it .

If you have a nasty , hijackthis forum is the place to get advice on removing them ... failing this , it's a complete reinstall of the os to fix the pc .

4: The server you have been connecting to is overloaded .

Possible , it's close to server maintenance time .... stupid ebay .

5: Problems with supply from current isp ... you can use all the tools you want , and they say its fine ... but if the isp is having issue's ... most wont bother to own up .

6: Your modem is almost nackered ... they can go a slow death ... follow the instructions supplied with modem to do a reset and try again ... some say to turn it off for 5 minutes ... if they get warmer than normal , they can stuff about .

After all these have been confirmed you should now where the issue stemed from .

You can go to dslreports.com and use their diagnostic tools and speed test to verify your connection speed and internet settings.
