I was reading the comments on BeLight in the tools section and people seem to be happy because it allows you to encode the ac3 without losing the volume level in original wav file.
There's a whole lot of settings in there. If anyone who is experienced with this software can share tips on settings so as not to lose the volume in the encoded ac3 that would be great..

i read your pms a few minutes,sorry for late because i'm busy and "forgot" to check my mails notifications.
i think that is better answer here in the forum because more people can read and write and we can learn together.
i use only AftenGUI loading one interleaved wave-6 channels.to get instructions about command lines,the link posted have good explanations and the whole thread is full of hints.
with the gui,use -31dB and the volume will be the same as source and adjust the desired bitrate(from 384 to 448Kbps CBR is cool) and let the remainders adjusts as default.
a new AftenGUI 1.3 is up to download.
