Dear all,
When burning a dvd video onto a dvd+r disk I have no problem playing the disc on my Bose system; when performing the same action on a dvd+-RW, I always get the message "bad disc" from my Bose system. When performing the same action on my laptop and on a rewritabel disc everything seems to work just fine. Does anyone have a clue what might be causing my problem on my desktop? The software i use for burning my discs is ECDC 7.5. I have tried Nero 7.0 but the problem remains.
Thank you for your help!

Sounds like your "Bose" system doesn't support RW discs or the discs are not finalized.

The system does support RW discs; those burnt on my laptop work just fine...meanwhile the problem has been solved: instead of a Philips DVD writer I installed a Plextor 760 and everything works flawlessly now...
Thanks anyway
