I have a digital camera Kodak V530. Besides taking still photos, it can also capture video at 640x480 OR 320x240 resolution, in MPEG-4 format.
I have been capturing using 640x480 and use the software tool ConvertxDVD (something like that) to convert the MPEG-4 video clip to DVD. This is pretty quick and easy to do.
I am wondering if there are tools to convert the MPEG-4 clips to VCD, I mean one step process and quick just like the one for converting to DVD mentioned above.
You maybe wondering why I downgrade to VCD format. There are several reasons:
1) 640x480 video (30 fps) is a little bit jerky due to the speed of my SD memory card
while the 320x240 video always look smooth
2) the clips I captured are just for fun and really not meant to be converted to a fancy DVD with transitions & titles as I used to do with with a DV camcorder.
3) I have a portable 7" DVD player that can play all kinds of video / audio formats. A VCD and DVD shows about same video quality on this one.
