  1. Is is version of VLC allowed to Screen Capture?
    if it 's posssible

    Right-click on the video window and select 'Snapshot,' or select the same option under the Video menu. (Note: neither Snapshot option will appear unless you have a video loaded.)

    This should save a snapshot to whatever directory you have specified under Preferences > Video > Snapshot > Video Snapshot Directory (however, I don't know where it'll go if you leave the field blank ), in either PNG or JPEG format (depending on which format you have selected in the Video Snap Shot Format option underneath the Video Snapshot Directory field.)

    so i asked

    Menu : Video -> Snapshot

    The option has been there a while, so I'd be surprised if you don't have it. But if you don't, upgrade to the latest version instead of bitching and moaning.
