    Hi friends. I try some tools to split a large MPEG-2 file into some sections, but some tools try to convert the file into a more compressed MPEG-2 and then split, and the others convert it to .avi and then split (resulting a very huge file!), both take a long time and are HDD scratching!
    1) Do you know a tool which just splits MPEG-2 without any conversion?
    2) Basically, MPEG-2 is a muxed Audio/Video file. So why tools can't simply split it?
