How can I get the same effect

I was playing with the Ulead DVD Movie Factory 5. (Nice simple program) but when I was playing with the trial software I noticed a nice effect and I would like to reproduce. When creating a menu I had my menu listed at the bottom above the text (more then half the screen) the thumbnail video was playing from the highlighted button. So when you arrow over another menu item the video changed. What I liked was that the video was large and only one thumbnail video was visible at a time. My issue is that I wanted to modify this menu a little but DVD Movie Factory is very limited.

I have Adobe Encore 1.0 (I know I need to upgrade) but is there a way to do this with Encore 2.0? Or what application can do this?

Don't know how to do it in the programs you mentioned. But here is a tutorial on that kind of thing for DVD-Lab. The concept would be the same for any reasonable authoring program.
