After trying to play a rewrite disk made by a SONY DVD Camcorder, my Go.Video VR3930 will not recognize a regular DVD. I have tried to reset by mfg. instructions, and have even updated the firmware via a burned image disk made from the mfg. website...which it did recognize and updated successfully, but would still not recognize a DVD disk. I get a message "does not recognize disk format" or something similar to this. Can someone help me?
Thank You!

If you followed the manufacturer's instructions down to the letter atleast twice ... if it's under warantee ... take it back ... if not
There have been numerous problem's turn up at my door step , with players going nutts .
Failing everything else ... reinsert the disc that was in the unit before problem ... let it spin till something happens ... and PULL the plug out ... kill the power cold dead .
Reconnect power and turn it on , and eject that disc ASAP ... dont let it do anything ... get that disc out fast .
Turn unit off , then back on , and try a dvd in it this time ... it's worked for a number of problem's ... it's why I say too buy a cheap unit ... if it stuff's up ... you have'nt lost much .
