  1. Having problems with converting a vob file from dvd decrypter into a mpg file with vob2mpg.
Made the vob in file mode, no splitting, one main vob.
I installed vob2mpg with no problem in RC1 vista. I selected the vob folder as input and another folder as output and clicked start. The progress bar finished in like 1 second.
The result was a mpeg file with 0kb in the output folder.

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

  2. Did you try clicking start again without closing the program? I have had the same thing happen and usually just trying again works, no guarantees though.

  4. Ok. It's working now. For some reason ripping with dvd decrypter in file mode did not work.
But ripping in info mode did.

  5. Ok now after a couple of dvds working correctly, it has done it again. Even on my winxp machine it is getting a 0kb file.
Is vob2mpg that finicky or buggy?
    Anyone else have this problem?
    Should I use videoredo instead?

    Thanks

  6. As I said, i have had it fail on occasion, but it usually works. I did have one disk that would not convert no matter what, it ripped fine but no editor would touch it either so there had to be an error in the video somewhere.

Are the discs scratched? Are they newer protected discs that might require something other than just DVDDecrypter to properly rip?
