I downloaded Vegas 7 to play around with. I installed WAX 2.0e.

It's documentation states there will be a WAX Video FX and a WAX Transions filter listed in Vegas. The only thing listed is WAS Plugin1, through 5. No description of what they are.

I was able to fumble around and get a virtualdub filter loaded, but cannot find anywhere to change the options for the filter.

It's most likely my newbieness on Vegas. Can someone help me?

    Thanks!

OK, so I had Wax in my eyes!

That's what I needed. Works. The only drawback is I cannot see the preview while in WAX. I have to use the HOST MEDIA dummy option for it to work.

All I see in the preview window is the HOST MEDIA graphic and how the filter would change it. So I have to make a change and exit out of wax and preview in Vegas. Then go back in and out until the changes are to my liking.

But hey, it's working so I can learn!

    Thanks!

I have both Vegas preview at 0 and WAX at 0. All I get is the dummy media.

I can't find anything in Sony's knowledge base or in their forums.

I found a few talking about setting the preview window to 0.

I have it on 0 in WAX and Vegas. If I uncheck the use dummy media then when I use WAX I get a PLEASE WAIT... after loading the filter.

    It sits there forever.

I turned off the dummy setting and after 5 minutes of seeing PLEASE WAIT, it says "Unable to determine event length. Please check if you can run scripts"

I searched Sony's knowledge base and forums with no luck on that phrase either.
