After I installed it on my Win XP x64 system, it would periodically use 100% of the CPU time when visiting certain websites and lock the system up. After searching the Internet, I discovered that this is some kind of conflict with Sun's Java, so I uninstalled IE7 and the problem went away, since neither IE6 or Firefox 2.0 have this bug. I run my system, dual boot with Vista x64 RC2 and I've never noticed the problem on the Vista side.

IE7 seems to offer little or nothing over Firefox 2.0, so I will be staying with Mozilla for awhile it seems.

  2. I have Sun Java JRE 5.0 Update 8 and have seen no issues. Of course I don't run IE long enough to really tell.

  4. Likes: I like the fullscreen mode that works the same way as "auto hide" with the taskbar.

Dislikes: It uses more memoery and more cpu than IE6 ever did

(Sorry, Conquest10, but Firefox is as bloated and system hogging as IE for long time already)
if system resources are NOT abundant on any windows system, there is only one choice:
    Mozilla K-MELEON
have all you need (tabs, security, lightweight and with full user customization too if needed)
