TVC Flv to Xvid fails conversion

Hello All



I'm a newbie to video conversion and presently use Total Video Converter 3.0 trying to convert Flv to Xvid. And for some reason the conversion fails the video but the audio is ok.

I also installed Xvid from free codec.com, however when I convert Flv to Divx it converts both video and audio ok...


What is the difference between Xvid and Divx ??


I have Direct x 9.0c on my system

They are very similar. I actually prefer Xvid. Others can explain the exact differences.

I had to Uninstall Total Video Converter 3.0 because when I attempted to play the Xvid on the WMP or Real player I would get the BSOD and a reboot.


The TVC needs a software update to fix the Xvid converter problem...
