Hi, I'm currently working on a dvd reader that can read video in frame by frame forward and backwards.
The video is given on a DVD so I started to play it directly from the DVD but then encountered problems of playing backwards. I then tested various method with avi and mpeg files.
So my idea was to use VOBTOMPG to convert my file form the dvd to mpg and then play the vob file,
but when I use IMediaSeeking or IMediaPosition and there method of get position/set position I cannot get a mouvement under 0.5 sec with the mpg file of VOBTOMPG but with other mpg file it works
anybody got an idea why that ?
I would like to use VOBTOMPG because it converts the DVD in less than 4 min and the rest of the programs take hours
