You see i have this dvd whos chapters are messed up so I reauthored the dvd and set the correct celltimes for the chapters. But when i go through the last step to restore menus and stuff with VobBlanker the final result is that the chapters are the same again...what should i do so that it wont set the old chapters again?

Go back to the original and use FixVTS. This may fix the problem directly.

Rip the original DVD using RipIt4Me or FABDVDdcrypter to get back to the original bad menu before you tried to fix it. Then use FixVTS to try to fix the original menu. FixVTS will fix many problems without having to do major work.

How are the menus mixed up, and what program are you using to do the editing. Also what are you doing to the video? Include as much detail as possible to help us help you.

  7. Seems it's hard to change the chapter points if they're incorrect on the original DVD, at the same time keeping the menus. I usually work with retail DVDs where the chapters are correct, and don't run into the problem. See if this thread and the solutions apply to you:

I think I would try goonix's solution, if I were you, before trying the OP's solution. If you reauthored with the chapters the way you want, I'd try his "Replace VTS Titles" in PGCEdit suggestion, rather than using VobBlanker for the job.

  9. Open the original DVD in PGCEdit and highlight the movie in the left screen. It'll become grey. Then go File->Replace VTST Titles. Follow the instructions to replace the original movie with yours with the fixed chapter points.

I might suggest backing up the original, as when done, there's no going back. The original will be gone otherwise, having been replaced with the new one. And if there's more than one title in that VTS, you'll either have to get rid of it, or you can't do the replace. Since you have a TDA authored DVD, that probably won't be a problem.
