I've been searching and reading and searching for ways to fix the overscaning on my anime and live actions dvds. I fixed it with Winavi converter. it allows me to add boaders from top, bottom, left and right corners. now that i've done that i'm lookin for a dvd authoring software that creates good or wonderful menu's. i'm looking for one that allows me to add music to the menu, backgrounds and maybe motion clips. i tried to add the converted files(which are VOB) to Nero and make a menu but that wasnt possible can someone point me into the right direction or program that would let me make good menus for my dvds. thanks

Tmpgenc DVD Author or DVD-lab Pro or Ulead DVD Workshop are my favorites. Trials available for testing.
And convert to mpeg2 dvd files with winavi instead of vobs...but tda, ulead dvd workshop should be able to import dvd-video vob files also. -
You do the menus. There's no app with a "Create wonderful menu" button. Use state of the art video editors and effects applications, paired with lots of skill, talent and know-how.
That said, for simple menus, TDA has basic (but not bad) menu capabilities. Try it, and see if the menu templates and degree of freedom is to your liking.
