Gotta traffic ticket, but did nuthin wrong. Vid camera recorded my ride thru yellow light, but tic said red light. Online vid stream shows yellow!!

Need to rip the stream, burn to disc, show traffic judj. Don't know wich software to use, how to capture stream, don't know formats, and and and

Can someone giv advice or point me to website w answers?

Welcome to the forums. Bummer about the wrong ticket.

Have a read of the various tools in the Video Streaming Recording category of the "Tools" section and pick one or two that sound like they might fit the bill and give them a go.

Just go to court. The prosecutor will show the tape and it will clearly be seen as an improper ticket (the burdon of proof is on him). Then the judge will throw the thing (your ticket) out.

Or, call the prosecutor, and tell him that the video clearly shows that you were in compliance with the law and that his automated "system" is flawed. If he reviews the tape, he will be able to see that you are correct and will probably drop the charges. The LAST thing that he wants exposed in court is the fallibility of his automated system. This would make all previous convictions based on this system suspect.

Even if you succeed on doing what you want, your video would not be accepted as evidence (that "chain of custody" thing). Only the original tape will be admitted as evidence.

What you could do with the tape that you make, is give it to the local TV news people. They could have a field day with it.
