  1. Hi all

A chap came into the centre wanting to take some files of a Microdrive. The pictures he had got off OK, but there where some movie pictures on there.

While transferring these to the computer is not the problem, the files are in an unknown format. The files end in:

*.mod - I know this is an old format for traker music files, but these are video.
*.moi - There is one of these for each of mod files.
*.pgi - one of these files.
*.sfk - one of these files.

Any help that you can give to identify these so they can be editted would be great.

    Cheers........

Try just rename the mod to mpg as I think they are mpeg2 files. If they wont play try SUPER and convert them.

And try google for mod and moi....several tips...

  3. Thanks for the repl, I'll try renaming them and see what happens.

Google was my first port of call since this usally works for such things, but all it gave me was tracker music files for the old amega etc.
