i have a RCA DRC257N dvd player. the player produces a fairly audible high pitch squealing sound when in standby, but not when it's powered on.
have previous or current owners of this player noticed this issue?
or has anyone encountered a similar problem with other dvd players?
if so, is there any way to fix or minimize the noise?
i disconnected the HDMI cable, relocated the player to another room and connected only the power cord. same as before, no noise when powered on, but squealing sound when in standby.
any thoughts would be appreciated.
