    Just downloaded an avi which plays fine in MediaPlayer.

    But when I convert it to mpeg, the audio track is replaced by a music-only track! How is this possible? I opened it in VirtualDubMod, and see only one audio stream - how do I convert it to mpg with the original track??

    extract the audio with virtualdubmod, is it the music-only track?
    try also open the avi with avimux gui.

    Yeah, tried VDub, but same prob. AVI Mux worked, tho - thanks!
