I usually capture my home movies from analog tape into a 2 hour long MPG2 file.
I alway use the Fade In/Out feature on these movies between scenes.
I'd like to find a way to automatically split the MPG2 file into the separate scenes and have each scene put into an individual file. This would allow me to trim a 2 hour movie down to something much shorter using the editing software I use (Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3). By having each scene in a separate file I will only be putting the desired scenes on the DVD and nothing else.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been doing this by hand with TMPGEnc, but that is tedious.
thanks,
Kevin
