    Im using convertxtodvd,andI put the avi thru digital video repair it says its good no problems ,I burnt it to tdk disk after being told that my other dvd player probably wasn't taking the dvd cause of the disk I was using I was using imation ,so I changed it to tdk ,my player a rca,drc212 still won't play the dvd but some of the ones I did played but no audio,my other dvd player a klh kd1220 plays them ,what is causing the no audio

    What format is the original audio? Drop the AVI into GSPOT and see what it is. You may need to demux the audio into uncompressed WAV using virtualdub. The audio might be a VBR MP3, which can give encoders a problem. If it's AC3, just demux that and encode just the video, then add the AC3 back in later.
