  1. My computer plays original vcds just fine, but does anyone know if it can play backups? someone sent me a copy of a movie and they don't play on neither media player or on my dvd player

  2. the thing is, do those ahem "backups" work on your friends computer?

    if they dont work they were prolly burnt wrong try going to the tutorials that show you how to make copys i mean "backups" of the vcd's

  3. yea but i was just trying to find out if you can always play cdr copy on a computer, i understand not all dvd players play them, so does that rule apply to computers also?

  4. nah man well hmm if you have a verry slow assed computer.

    but im guessing you dont.
    but you said normal VCD's can play easily on your comp rite?

    well the thing with home players some of them can only play "printed" vcd's that means the information is like stamped on instead of burned.

    but i dont see the problem with pc unless you have a screwed up burnd VCD. or you have a verry old cdrom.

    or maybe a missing *.dll file (thats a diff story)
