I have been using toolame for the last couple months no problem, today I was doing 5 movies using batch mode in tmpenc and after the 3rd movie tmpenc just shut down. I restarted after re-entering the jobs as for some reason the remaining jobs just disappeared, usually you have to clear them even after a sucsessful batch job. This time it shut down right after the wave file was created, I then tried to just encode a movie without using batch mode, same thing, as soon as the create wave file hit 100% tmpenc just disappeared.
I then encoded without using toolame but using batch mode and it did the first movie and then disappeared again, so now I am having to do one movie at a time without using toolame, I tried rebooting, and restoring to yesterday when all was running ok, still does the same thing, anyone else have this problem before and know of a fix?

I was gonna say perhaps your harddrive was full. I encode on d: but the audio goes to c:\windows\temp temporarily.

dphirschler, do you use toolame with TMPG?
TMPG > option > enviromental setting > general > folder settings. Select a temp dir on the larger partition.
2nd way: Use toolame with BeSweet, that do not create any temporary file.

I agree with Truman, I had this happen yesterday during some batches. It didn't delete the old mp2 file before starting the next clip, so the drive filled up, then if you have autoshutdown checked, it gets the error and shuts you down.
Aim your TEMP file from under TMPG's Environmental Settings to a larger partition or drive.

Yes, I suppose I need to do that. It was just a week or two ago that I installed tooLAME, and just Friday that I noticed the audio going to c:\windows\temp.
I need to check out this BeSweet method...

BeSweet is my favorite new toy. It does any audio conversion except .ac3 out. You can use it to correct the audio delay or sample rate.

I always aim my temp files to the largest partition, it was actually a bad drive, a new WD 80 gig, I took it back and got a replacement and all is workin right.

An update, this problem reoccured last night even with the new hard drive, and I have at leat 10 gig of free space on all partitions and 30 gig free on the partition that toolame is on so not a space problem. It semms to happen after the 3rd or fourth movie in a batch job, then I cannot do even one using toolame, window closes as soon as the temp wave file is created, and the wave file is there and not corrupted so that isn't the problem, and I cannot do any kind of batch encoding with tmgenc, again the window just closes after the first movie is done.
Here is something else that is weird, if I just do a single job, no batch, it does it fine using tmpenc audio encoder but after it is done the window again closes rather than stay on with 100% showing, strange. when this did this last night I said ok I will jusat run a couple of encodes side by side rather than batch, when I woke up both were done ok and one of the jobs was still on the screen showing 100%, so I tried a small file I keep for testing using toolame and it worked, seems like whatever it was corrected itself, I left for work with a batch job running but not using toolame, going to see if the problem repeats without using toolame, has anybody seen this before? -
well, it's not toolame causeing this problem as I ran batch without toolame and again the same problem after the third encode job. Again, anybody seen this problem?
