    I was told this could be done with Media Player classic. Well, it "plays" but it's a mess.. Audio is pretty f***d.. and video keeps freezin and program terminates...

    VLC does not play the subtitles at all...

    is there anythin I can do?

    What format are the subs in ?

    Best tool I have found to test subs is Subtitle Workshop. That way you can fix things on the fly, if necessary.

    mostly .srt

    but Subtitle Workshop wont test subs on an .MPV file...
