    Fry's has been running these C2D specials pretty much continuously for the last few months. They're sure to have something over Thanksgiving weekend.

    I was there last Thanksgiving and got a great AMD 64 mobo/cpu combo deal.

    Yes, in store only. I see nothing on Fry's.com or Outpost but would expect prices to fall even more by Thanksgiving.
    I called Fry's today to ask about their cpu/mobo combo deals. Customer service told me they don't have those combo deals on their website, it's only instore specials to draw in customers. Bummer! I'll be in Northern California for the Thanksgiving holidays so I'm looking forward to their cpu/mobo combo instore specials.
    Fry's doesn't post their in-store specials but this site try's to keep up with the newspaper ads. Be aware that Fry's is in another dimension as far as after sale support and sales personnel knowledge. Just a bit better than an average Burger King cashier. Know what you are buying. CPU is OEM (unmarked, no fan and 1 Yr warranty) and is limited to 15 day return.

    We used to call Fry's the "Silicon Valley Cultural Center". Back then there was only the original Sunnyvale store, then they added the Palo Alto ex-produce barn. They are still a private operation as far as I know.

    Nice deal, shame I don't live near any stores. My son was living in Southern California but he moved back east. I'm still looking so maybe some online deals will come along.
