Widescreen Playing problem

Hi,

I have a problem to play any video (avi, mpg, vob) with various aspect ratio on widescreen monitor using Zoom player and Nero Vision. It looks like the left side of screen got cut. It doesn't help even no matter how I change aspect ratio. However, it plays fine with Windows Media Player.

Any idea?

In Zoom player:'Player options>Settings', try checking 'Automatically Resize the Window to match the Source Video Size' and 'Automatically Snap Windows to Each other and Screen Edge' and see if either one helps.

If it doesn't, then maybe something in the video card settings.

What video card do you have? What wide screen monitor do you have? Others here may have the same setup and could give you some better information.

I played with several softwares for a while and noticed that Zoom Player can play well sometime, but not alwaws, even on the same video file. I guess that it may have something to do with other software's setting. I have found out what interaction caused this problem.

I tried the setting you mentioned. It didn't make difference. I'am using NVIDIA display and viewsonic monitor.
