Seems a few peeps out there in the Anime Fansub world are being mean and using a ?new? or uncommon codec for their AVIs
I get this error when trying to convert the MKV file:
Unknown/unsupported CodecID (V_MPEG4/ISO/ASP)
latest file to be graced by this is from a group known as "Your Mom":
http://your-mom.fansub-torrents.com/%5BYour-Mom%5D_Yoake_Mae_yori_Ruri-iro_na_Crescent...5D.mkv.torrent
I hope it stays unloved and unpopular.
MKVinfo provides this data:
| + Track number: 1
| + Track UID: 11118
| + Track type: video
| + Unknown element: DummyElement
| + Default flag: 1
| + Forced flag: 0
| + Lacing flag: 0
| + MinCache: 2
| + Timecode scale: 1.000000
| + Max BlockAddition ID: 0
| + Codec ID: V_MPEG4/ISO/ASP
| + Unknown element: DummyElement
| + CodecPrivate, length 42

| + Video track
| + Pixel width: 704
| + Pixel height: 396
| + Unknown element: DummyElement
| + Display width: 704

And I cannot extract the video with MKVextract either. Bleh!
