Hi, I am struggling to resolve issue for 9 hours.
I could use adobe premiere pro 2 without problem for 1 months, but since I installed ACE codec pack and directx 9, there is problem. I couldn't run premiere pro 2 and flash pro 8 at all, so I installed ACE codec pack, then I can run again, but there is problem, VIDEO CARD ERROR.

When I capture video from DV, it says " Desktop Display mode has been reset because the video card returned an error. Please reset the desktop display mode in the playback setting dialog as this may impact your playback performance"

But I can capture video, but the video quality is very bad. I can see the line when my hand move. I have to create sign langauge presentation video ASAP!

There was no video error before, so I was PANIC!! Should I reinstall premiere pro again??

Codec Packs are bad news, period.

Use system restore to roll back to a point prior to installing the codec pack.

Use Codec sniper to cleanup any codec mess left lying around.

Download and install the latest version of DirectX9 from Microsoft.

Download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

If this still fails to help help, uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro
