  1. Chrissyboy,

    Well, everything was going fine with SVCD2DVD until just recently. I downloaded and installed
    imgburn and now the DVDs I create with SVCD2DVD no longer burn, even though I get the message that the image was burned. I was using DVDDecryptor to burn the iso created with SVCD2DVD. When imgburn was installed it asked if I wanted it to be the default burner for applications, I said yes. Here are the options as I have them selected under "Burning Settings"

    Burning Method ---> DVDDecryptor (there is no selection for imgburn here)

    NeroBurner ---> All Blank

    Imgburn ---> Path --> C:\Program Files\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe
    Don't burn - just create iso file is NOT checked.
    Close DVD Decryptor/Imgburn after burning is checked.

    Please help. What could be my problem? Do I have to uninstall DVD Decryptor?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    I suspect you need the latest build of SVCD2DVD to use ImgBurn. What version are you running?:

    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    ImgBurn2 support was added in the last two releases. I should grab the latest version...

    I downloaded the latest version of SVCD2DVD and tried it last night. Still no go! My DVD did not get burned. Any other suggestions?

    I will see if I can do that when I get home later today. Thanks for your help!

  8. Chrissyboy,
    I think that I found my problem. I created the projects while still burning with DVDDecryptor. Even though I set my new version of SVCD2DVD to use imgburn and entered the path, when I loaded one of my projects, all of that information reverted back to DVDDecryptor. I guess the information saved with projects will override the settings in the registry?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Yep that is correct. It is by design. You will have to load, then change the setting. If you want to use the project again you should resave the project afterwards.

    You might wish to try other burning soft such as Actve@ ISO Burner. This tool is easy to use, relaible and small. It is a freeware also.
