    Hi, im editing a wedding video, i ws wondering how do i cut secnes? and what software to use?

    What format is the file in?

    If you want the final video to be in wmv format I recommend windows movie maker. Pretty easy to use and you can tell it what file size to output to.

    Otherwise if you want something else like avi as an output try virtualdub - maybe a little more complicated than wmm but you can do more with it.

    Please give us a bit more information.

    What kind of video? dvd, divx/xvid avi, dv avi, wmv?
    Is just cutting enough? no advanced editing with transistions?

    If it was old 8mm you would use a razor blade.

    Different tools for different video types. Unknown type, unknown tool.
