I've noticed a recent flood of handheld "mp4" players that support only smv video playback on their tiny screens. I've only seen rudimentary transcoding software for these things, and it only runs on PCs. Is there any hope of seeing a version of ffmpegX with smv support, or is sigmatel keeping the format to themselves? Or does anyone know of existing Mac-compatible smv software?
