When making motion menus, I am having a hard time getting the audio to work with the motion in background menu. I tried following the tutioral in the program to the T to no avail. It says to drag and drop the audio ac3 in the audio menu box below the video menu, Then I would compile it for burning. When I try it out on either cyberlink powerdvd or windows media player, I get the motion picture to come up just fine, but no audio sound, nuda. Is there something else that needs to be done or is there another tutorial that explains more in lamans terms on how to get this to work?

    Thank You

Can you play ac3 audio from other discs ?

Have you tried dropping it straight onto the menu itself ?

Which version of DLP 2 are you using ? There has been a couple of updates to address issues with certain players.

Yes, I've dropped it into both the audio menu and the main menu, still the same results. Yes, plays as Avi,Mpeg,......ect with no problems in powerdvd, realplayer, windows media player. Tried demuxing in Mpeg2 and Vob files, Get the m2v video and audio files. Video "Motion" files work, audio doesn't.

Very odd. The best I can offer then is to try the mediachance forums. Someone there may have seen this and can offer some help.

Last question - as all your audio the same format ? i.e is it all AC3 2.0 or 5.1, or a mix of AC3 and mp2 ?

appriciate your help. It's been kind of a mix,ac3,mp2, even tried a single vob file without demuxing to keep the audio in tack and tried the render motion menu to render it into an avi to encode, tried it before encoding and still nothing. will go over to mediachance and see what they have to say. Thanks.
