    I'll try to be quick!

I have a divx (.avi) that i want to convert to DVD (.vob).

avi is 23.976 fps --- its subtitles work great with media player + vobsub.

i convert to PAL (25fps checked) with CinemaCraft. I get the .mpv file which must be 25fps.

I author with Dvd-Lab. Add the subtitles as they are. Burn with Nero. Play on tv and subs are out or sync.

is that because I converted from 23.976 to 25fps?

  2. Yes, you lost sync when you speed up your video by changing its framerate from 23.976 to 25fps.
The only thing you have to do:
Use Urusoft's SubtitleWorkShop to convert subtitles from 23.976 to 25fps too.
    It's easy and quick.
    Good luck.

    You sure its gonna work?
Are these settings correct for Subtitle Workshop?
    Input FPS: 23,976
    FPS: 25

  4. Hi!
I'm quite sure it will work.
Your settings are correct (Input FPS = 23.976 and FPS = 25).
If you notice, when you do this, timestamps will be reduced. At 25 minutes, it will be almost 24 minutes (23.976 minutes).
Why won't you test before burn?

my files are .mpv (video) .mpa (audio) and .srt (subtitles).
Is there any proggy that can test subtitles on mpv video?
