  1. hey guys when i convert to dvd program file with mainconcept,with pcm audio i have no sound afterward,,shouldnt my pc have a standard wave codec already in it??also i went ahead and authored one to ac3 and the final file was soundless also

    Are you tslking about the standalone Mainconcept encoder? It should handle PCM audio but not AC3 in. There is no AC3 decode capability. At lest the last one I tried.

  3. i have main concept software,,been capturing and encodin stuff for several years now so am kinda thrown by it,,,i've never had a pcm prob before,,,mainconcept takes the usaully mp3 audio and encodes to pcm,while makin dvd encode from there i got o tmpeg dvd author and it'll make it ac3,,but for some reason the audio is dead from pcm and stil;l silent after goin to ac3 format

  4. well its not just pcm i did a dvd encode with layer 2 audio encoding and still no sound in finished file
