This is strange, and it has happened on more than one of my computers.
Sometimes I load a DVD and its volume label name doesn't show up in My Computer. When this happens, I restart my PC and most of the time it corrects this problem, but why does this happen?
When I don't see the DVD's volume label name it's even weirder. Explorer may show me a different file system, where the .vob files are very different. If this ever happens, I immediately restart because those .vobs will give me bad results if I were to do video editing for example.
I assume it may be a Windows XP problem, but it's annoying at times.
Any reasons or corrective measures from people who experienced this before? Let me know, thanks in advance!
